Uganda: Landmine victims struggle to reintegrate society

Northern Uganda, January 21, 2009 -- As peace returns to northern Uganda, many displaced people are returning home. Among them are scores of landmine survivors. But reintegrating society poses many problems for them. Irene Laker Odwar, a member of Gulu-Amuru Landmine Survivor's group, says victims suffer trauma, social exclusion and physical discomfort. Michael Wambi of Vision Voice radio went to speak to Irene.
