Charles Taylor’s cross examination resumed Monday and one issue he faced during his cross examination was accusations he made against the government of Sierra Leone about attacks on the Liberian border. Brenda Hollis also questioned Mr. Taylor on the misused of the telephone lines to communicate with his Defence lawyers. Adolphus Williams reports from The Hague.

Liberia’s Former President Charles Taylor has denied responsibility for the killing of six American catholic nuns in the Monrovia suburb of Gardnerville during Taylor’s National Patriotic Front rebel offensive, code name ‘Operation Octopus. At Mr. Taylor’s war crimes trial cross examination, Senior Prosecuting Attorney Brenda Hollis also asked the Former Liberian president about the massive looting allegedly done by his fighters during the April 6, 1996 fighting in Monrovia.
